What was your life like before you´ve met the Sisters of Mary? (origin, circumstances, family etc.)

I came from a poor family but with numerous members, I’m the fourth of ten children of our parents. My life was full of hardship, working with my father in the field together with my uncles and grandfather. I remember my father’s earning was only 100 Lempiras a day. Our food was only the fruit of our labor. I stopped studying for a year due to poverty and corona virus. It was very hard to study with this time because one needs to have electronic device for classes.

Which expectations/ impression did you have when you came to the school of the Sisters of Mary on the first day?

Upon arriving to the school, my feeling was full of pride, seeing the two, high buildings for the first time in my life. Having pride, because I was given the opportunity to live in this very beautiful place.
