Privacy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain why we, at World Villages for Children, collect your personal information and how we strive to protect the privacy of our donors and supporters, both online and offline.

In this policy, you will learn how we use your information.

SHARING

At World Villages for Children, we take the privacy of our donors very seriously.

Personal information of donors acquired by World Villages for Children is never sold. Personal information acquired through our website, advertisements, events, and fundraising initiatives not related to direct mail is never rented or exchanged. Furthermore, any information acquired via prayer requests, and shared through phone conversations with our staff or planned giving specialists, is never shared with anyone outside of our organization and will be held in the strictest confidence.

Personal information of our donors acquired from mailing lists already in circulation is occasionally rented to or exchanged with other organizations. We only rent or exchange lists we maintain with other third parties we believe engage in activities that are consistent with the mission and core beliefs of World Villages for Children. If a person becomes a donor of World Villages for Children in response to a mailing of ours, the request to have their name excluded from rental or exchange should be submitted in writing, either by email or by mail to our business office: World Villages for Children, 4200 Parliament Place, Suite 230, Lanham, MD 20706.
