Who we are and what we provide

The Sisters Of Mary

The Sisters of Mary are devoted to helping the poorest of the poor in Asia, Latin America, and Africa. The religious order was founded by Aloysius Schwartz, the priest of the poor. The Sisters have been operating charitable programs for more than fifty years serving children with the greatest need who have the greatest potential. In 6 countries there are 400 Sisters of Mary caring for over 21,000 children with the mission of helping them break free from a life of poverty. This is one day in the life of a Sister.

Hi! My name is Nágila Laryssa Silva da Conceição. I belong 14th batch. I graduated year 2021. 

I was cared by my grandmother. All my experienced in the Sisters of Mary were all useful for what I am doing now. I made Technical Course in Dentistry when I was in the Sisters of Mary. All what I have learned helped me much with my college. Now I am studying to be a Dentist in one of the University of Maranhão – northern state of Brazil. I am really thankful for all those who collaborated of all what I am now. And with all my efforts and sacrifices I believe that I can do the best though life is hard but the teachings that I received in the Sisters of Mary will be my guide to live well and persevere in all trials in order to conquer my goal.
